My Vision for Riverdale Park

Where are we going?

Riverdale Park is evolving—and my vision extends well beyond Ward 4. As a community, we are reimagining our Town Center and its surrounding areas to be more pedestrian and bike friendly, safer, and more inviting for everyone. We are committed to encouraging and incentivizing the construction of additional housing to meet our growing needs, while also supporting and nurturing local businesses to drive economic growth and create a vibrant, interconnected community.

Our future also calls for a more inclusive and intentional approach in our programming and services—especially for neighborhoods east of the river—to ensure that every corner of our town is supported. We must embrace the future by integrating technology and AI, positioning Riverdale Park as a leader in how a town serves its residents, while still honoring our heritage with cherished spaces like Adam and Emily Plummer Park.

Together, we can turn challenges into opportunities and build a Riverdale Park that reflects the dynamic, forward-thinking community we all deserve.
